I thought this was a rather cool idea, and i know it was already bought up on STEAM (thats actually where found out some limited info on it) I was wondering if there are any plans at all to bring it into the final release? I think it'd be cool to see it and the Sea Dragon battle, it could also be used to fill mainly empty stretches of ocean floor, keeing a large territory to itself.

I have an interest in a sand worm too, but mainly as a principally stationary reaper chomper that does not attack the player as long as the player is tiny because it would not be food worth getting up for. Approaching it in the Cyclops and maybe P.R.A.W.N. would get it to attack. I like the idea of at least one large predator having a reverse reaction to the Cyclops and the idea of forcing the player in the Seamoth or without any protection at all near such a giant for a scan (or resources as some form of cleaning symbiosis).
Yeah, sorry to disappoint you, but I remember someone telling me some months ago that the devs scratched this idea.
That's lame after stumbling across that vid it became my second fav creature idea, right after the sea emperor

I think this creature was actually an early test the devs made so it probably wasn't even planned to be added in at the start.
