How to make an airlock

hi guys i was wondering how i could make an airlock its very simple i want 1 side of a coridor flooded what an bulkhead and then another coridor with another bulkhead and behind that door is the base but i cant seem to flood the corridor any tip how i could flood the corridor

    its easy to flood a corridor, just hit it once or twice with any knife type to flood it, then use the welder to repair the damaged part.

    If u repair it, that corridor will be dried again.

    when i knife the corridor it wont flood
