So I have played over two hours of Caged and I was wondering how I could redeem my Skulk skin? Or is it granted to the players after the deadline has passed?

    Thank you and how do I know if I am on a dedicated server?

    You most likely will be.
    That limitation is just so you don't host a server on caged and go afk.

    If you join a server from the server browser or play now button you will be on a dedicated server.

    Will the skin unlock on a server that has a mod that puts bots into the game?

    If it's really a mod, it might not. If it's just the regular ns2 bots being enabled it should work.

    I was going to load shine mod with a shine bot plugin on the server. Hope it doesn't stop the activation of the skin

    I think only legitimately game changing mods prevent you from getting it. Although you'll have to be on a dedicated server, a listen server doesn't count.

    I had been playing a lot since the update, i think maybe one match from obtaining the skin. Today i saw a server saying unlock in 5 minutes. I curiously joined to see what it was about, then within a minute the skin was unlocked to my surprise. I guess it works like the TF2 idle server thingy?
    It wasn't really my intention to unlock it like this, but i guess i was close anyway. :expressionless:
