This must be out on a scale on 1 to 10. If you want, you can tell me how to improve
So anyway, here it is: My base.

Beautiful! 5/5! The creep vine decoration was a nice touch! And you just gave me an idea!

    That's a very nice base!
The only inconvenience I can see are rather long corridors, but all in all it's amazing and I really like what you did with the generator room.

    Yeah, this was a plan:

Firstly I would make this base in creative. Then, I would show it you guys to rate it which would make me decide whether I should do it on survival, which I am progressing through right now.

    Needs more indoor plants.
    Needs more aquariums.
What is with that observatory in the middle of the base?

It is a bit grandiose for my tastes (I like small and elegant ...these things are subjective)

However, it reminds me of a heteromorph ammonite - so plenty of points for that!

I have a minimalist attitude towards base building. The Moon Pool is the core of the base, everything you need to survive is in that room. I have another room for my 'personal space' which is also rigged up to be self sufficient. Other than that, I have a tower that holds the Bioreactor/graden, double deck alien containment, and the observation room on the surface. I added a scanner room off the moon pool, but it hasnt seen much use yet.

My room (looking in from the entrance, yes that is my wife's picture in the frame)

Compact. Organized. Why waste energy jogging around a base built for many people? Everything related to a given task is grouped together, like replenishment of food/water/energy, gear for expeditions, materials & manufacturing, and personal downtime/rest. B)

    Ah, what a lovely base!
I'm thinking about changing the layout of mine to a more ''castle-like'' build. Currently I'm gathering all the materials to build it in survival, but you just gave me some awesome ideas!

    I rate yours 10/10!

Quite small, but definitely the most detailed interior I have ever seen!
