I suggest alot more things to build with and also accasional tsuamies( such good spelling :} ) for a small challenge mainly accasional 8-45 feet tall waves that happen around every 0.2-3 real life hours, they dont do much damage just might cause a leak you just dont want to be in the open, they will be an item that the spawn has and you can deploy or place that delects all large waves within a 15 meter radius. Now my main suggestion is more things to build with and more room inside like every large places with spots above and below water. Here are two parts I modeled to show you(you can remake your own sense mine I not even close for the game just the main design types) that are compared to a normal Corridor : http://imgur.com/SNXNyGT
I also suggest like larger fish tanks for larger creatures with a larger multipurpose room with 16 connections around it that has room for a much larger fish tank.
