Some UI improvements/container for seamoth

Hi everyone !

As I was playing the game I made up some improvements that could improve gameplay:
1) Adding possibility to view equipment/blueprints from inside the seamoth. It's not really convenient to be forced to get out to check if I have some free space in my eq.
2) Also maybe a good idea would be to provide some container module for seamoth, something that would extend player's equipment or something.
3) Adding energy usage for some devices, like filtration station :) It would make powering the seabase much easier, as I could compute amount of energy supplies I need.

Thanks for hearing me out! Have a nice day :)

Sounlligen, I agree with suggestion #1. I've lost track of how many times I've been bitten by a critter while trying to scan a fragment or crack open an outcrop, only to find my inventory is full or I have the blueprint already. I suppose I could keep a pencil-and-paper copy of my inventory and my blueprints, but somehow that seems immersion-breaking. And it makes sense that I should be able to access my PDA while in the Seamoth.

About suggestion #2, that's been implemented in the stable version. You can craft and attach up to four 4x4 "add-on" external storage modules for the Seamoth at the Seamoth modification console. These go in the upgrade slots and are accessible only from outside the sub. (My favorite upgrade is the solar power charger, which vastly extends the range of the sub.)

Not sure what you mean by suggestion #3. Are you looking for an energy meter like on the welder tool?

    frazmi,
Thanks for your reply :) About suggestion #2 - thank you, I didn't know that!
What I mean by suggestion #3 - when you create a power source, you have power/min production displayed, whereas it's nowhere shown what is the consumption of e.g. filtration station.

Now I understand, thanks! How about adding consumption rate to the blueprint info? That might be easier than adding to the HUD.
