  There's the hull, engine and bridge. The bridge (What I assume you're looking for) is found in the dunes biome, which is home to the reaper leviathans.

  i have looked through the entirety of the dunes biome and could not find a thread of bridge scanning pieces

  I found my bridge pieces in the mushroom biome. If you go in a unmodded SeaMoth then watch your depth. For any deep areas I take the moth down to 210 m and then strap on 5 tanks so I have time to drop farther and then come back. That's how I got the moon pool.
