Terraformer and Moonpool

With the terraformer going away, can the Auto terraforming the moonpool does give more clearance? With just the current amount my seamoth always hits the ground and takes damage.

Best way I've been able to do some placements with the moonpool is to build a tube over a open space or build a room stacker 3 or 4 high and then build the moonpool off the 3rd or 4th level.
