World is gone, glass instead with sky on the outside. (You can still see a planet if you are looking from the bottom, but its a planet that has a dimension of being far away, not RIGHT THE HELL IN YOUR FACE like before)

VERY soft environment light so nearly every part of the place is viewable, but flashlights will still be needed to see a nonmoving skulk.

Bright spotlights on a few sections of catwalk.

Cool new red light on the resource at the top.

Vent added at the top above where you come into the hive location from the tram area. Its only accessable by skulks, lerks, or marines with jetpacks. It is very short and goes directly to tram tunnel and comes out in the middle from the ceiling. You can't see it in the picture.

Changed the catwalks so they are now catwalks you can see through, top and bottom. They still block the spotlights from reaching too much of the ground.

New water/slime texture, and it doesnt have the annoying blue glow underneath from initial tests. It moves much more like slime, too. Not like its trying to cause you 16 seizures per second.

I've updated many rooms but this, by far, was the one with the most feedback and complaints.

Toss up your opinions, andromeda will be much more playable soon.

    PS: Its not as dark in game as it is in the picture, you can see every single wall from the catwalks in the game, but you have to squint and look closely if you want to see a skulk moving around... flashlight if he's not moving.

    greatly improved. when running around before i got the grasp of what you were trying to do with that wind tunnel.. but it just seemed a little... weird... looking at this pic it certainly looks better. lets just hope it plays better also <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> (sky texture looks alot better, and alot more 'realistic' my only quibble... the 'cool red light' imo doesnt look that cool, it kinda looks completely different from the rest of the room, perhaps a sharpish blue colour or just white.

    Compiling a full compile now, hopefully will have something new for testing tonite. Lets HOPE this tram/doors bug is gone once and for all.

    rofl just spent an hour playing andromeda with bots, man i was annoyed cus i got mi bots to build me stuff at both the hanger and the chapel. clearly meaning that they had the wind tunnel. after 45 mins i went to the wind tunnel on mi own with ha+hmg expecting a pile of offence turrets, what did i see? all 6 alien bots in a pile in the water at the bottom of the ladder... gah... bots cant traverse the wind tunnel. 1 hour wasted. andromeda cant be played with bots rofl.

    still was fun.

    NO map can be played with that actual NS bots.
    they dont even use high ladders jetpacks, equipment uppicking or wallclimping.
    Especially without waypoints.

    Hey that looks a lot better from that fake world wall texture. I'll have to give your map a better rating once I see the new version. Looks like you have fixed a few other things. Good job! Wheres the thumbs up smilie?
