Crash at startup

I downloaded the game from steam but it wont load and crashes. I have tried the -force-d3d9 solution but still crashes. Please can anyone make any recommendations. £14.00 for a game that wont play!

I am having the same issue. When I click play Subnaitica New Game Survival, I see the ship flying into the planet scene and then up pops the error message. "Subnaitica has stopped working". I have made sure we have the latest H20 update cannot find anywhere to put in the -force -d3d9 that others say to enter. Please help, have yet to play the game! Thanks!

Had a old thread on that for mac users, threw it under bus because using lion

" and I'm done" can't play game… on mac…. except for Seamoth and lower.
