I'd rather see more detailing done on the existing map tbh. Been playing for a few hours and haven't nearly seen half of it.

    I don't know.

Here are my arguments for an bigger map and against it:

    Pro:
+ More space can result in the implementation of more or "mixed" biomes, where the flora and fauna of two or more "straight" biomes will shade into each others, the biome borders wouldn't be so hard
+ If a multiplayer would be implemented, the players should have more space, depending on the number of players.
+ The bigger space could give room for more and bigger explorable structures (wrecks, floating islands, etc.).

    Con:
    - Unknown Worlds has to focus on other, more important aspects such as the crafting system, story and bugs.
    - If there is more space, then how should it be filled?
    - More space means that you can get lost faster. You also have greater travel distances. You could run out of energy halfways, directly besides a reaper leviathan.

I would say yes except that we are already getting a bigger map but mostly in depth ( literally most of the planned biomes will be underneath the blood kelp biome which is already the deepest biome so far.
and secondly i would rather see more creature or interactions between different creatures (mostly having reaper going around looking for prey)

To handle bigger areas, the game needs a better navigation tool (than beacons).

Yes, I love the feeling of exploring in my Cyclops and discovering new things! (I'm not a wiki-jockey)
