I hope this hasn't been discussed to death before but...
So, we have this giant landmark lying in the distance, a beacon of failure and yet hope as well.
The primary dark-matter reactor is gone and it took a good portion of the ship with it.
We managed to get into what I assume is a secondary nuclear reactor room or reactor ancillary room to effect repairs to stop radioactive material leaking into the surrounding area.
We also find an upgrade we can use in the cyclops and several containers. ( Yay
)
Now what?
We explore it a little but so far there's not much more.
We know that they will be opening up more rooms to explore later on, but what?
What progression do you think there should/could be in the future regarding the Aurora?

Personally I'd like the ship to stop smoldering after a while, it can't burn indefinitely can it?
I'd like to see fewer crabs to start off and more after some time, I don't think organisms like living in burning wreckage especially after that explosion but maybe they like eating the metal?
Some PDA's lying around with some personal emails and stuff to give us some background on the crew and mission.
WHY SHOULD I CARE? This will also give us a reason to care about what happened, I'm not particularly attached to the ship or people otherwise.
New tech? New equipment?
Obviously, but what could they add?
Maybe old-world seeds and animal DNA?
How about something salvageable like transmission equipment that has to be lugged out in pieces and reassembled?

and whit the passing of time even disappear after we salvage all we can and use its metal to build new structures, of course this would limit the exploration making uz stay near the starting point but hey just some ideas...
maybe in time the aurora could be changed in to a city, the first human colony in the planet...
in any case i think its a waste of resources and it just looks bad loool...lets not start polluting the planet from the minute we arrive
