1.A new bio-dome with the ruins of a lost civilization, who were they? How the planet change and destroyed them in a cataclysmic event? That will be very interesting to explore.

2.Underwater caves with air pockets, enabling the player to explore them on foot!

It is a good, and, a bad idea

good idea because of the planet got flooded and all that kind of stuff

bad idea because, it is not realistic, ruins can't last this longer, even without those giant monsters out there !

but I like the idea of the underwater caves, I think the dev team will add it

sorry for my bad english (if it is) I'm not english

Depending on the ressource used to build the city and a long the planet is underwater and a lot of other thing like ocean currents. I propose the same idea few days ago but a was talking about a advanced civilisation.

I'm still curious how you flood a planet, you can't simply spawn water as you do in videogames 39.gif

It is realistic even though this is a game and we can bend the rules a little but besides that, even here on Earth there are 1000-3000 years old underwater ruins and we have explore only the 5% of our own sea.

And to be fair, maybe these civilisations invented more exotic materials than us (even our future us). So total decay in a few millennia doesn't have to be a problem if this were to be the case

Also Stargate Atlantis /me runs off :D

That will ruin the idea. Subnautica world can have some "intelligent" lifeforms. . But who said it will look like just like our civilization? Sea trader can obtain stuff using it will. Why it maus build cities?

Dont no maybe just creat a new and gorgeous biomes. Or, by making an advance civilization ruins you can add door you have to repair or use battery to open so you add more complex interactivity to a biome, you can aslo put some clue to the story line and background (hi)story for the game, new tech ect, ect.... ther is endless possibility on an ancien advance civilistation ruines.
