again sorry english is not my first language.
the way the game is right now, oxygen seem magic it come from nowhere.
oxygen etractor, extract oxygen from water (thx captain obvious) and bigger your base is, more extractor you need.
Yes... been wondering where all this air was coming from. The base seems to be a very sealed enviroment... you'd expect running out of oxygen at a certain point.
Perhaps a device of sorts to filter out the 02 out of the water. Or when there's sunlight I suppose you could have tanks with green plants fotosynthesizing and recycling the air in the base, but at greater depths you'll need something more sophisticated.... or simply giant airtanks that you'd have to refill at certain intervals.
yes even the air tank we use to swim refill itself im not an expert but a pretty sure you need a air compressor to do that.
ScaN: like your idea.

may be a little of all should be nice
I love this idea. This would let you have the base be full of air when you build it but only enough to refill your suit 1 time per compartment and stay inside for 5 minutes. Then once you have the first large room built you can mount an oxygen extractor. The oxygen extractor/cleaner will use power while your in the base and keep using it until the base reserves (external tanks that attach to the sides of the compartments the same way as reinforcements) are full. Each external tank can hold 15 minutes of air and will let you refill your tanks by using an access port on the outside so you don't have to go inside.
