Also why would a creature have serrated edges on its ribs
Great names, but I'm thinkin' something that rolls off the tongue. Either that or something that's just epic, you know?
I really do like Phantom Leviathan though; if I heard something like that, I'd want to go check it out.

Well I just had a terrifying thought: what if those aren't ribs? What if those are the legs of a giant, alien, ocean-dwelling centipede and the rest of its body is just buried?

Why is it on its back
Reasons.
Why the better to stab you and eat you, of course.
Or it's dead. And those are its legs / bones whatever. We'll have to wait and see
But that creature looks awesome. Reminds me of a Hammerhead shark
Hmm, Deep Sea Emperor? Possible. Then again we don't actually know where the LR biome will be... I like the Crystal Emperor but unfortunately it sounds far too solid to me, that guy looks squishy

well okay, but to be fair its an alien planet. we mere humans see the head and we think it's a hammerhead. may as well call it ghost shark. one thing i know for certain is that this thing is gonna live really deep because the bio-luminescence would be much better used down there.
Imagine just swimming in complete darkness and then it starts getting brighter for some reason and then you turn around a BAM! ghost/crystal/invisible/spectre/grand/squishy/ leviathan thing is about to eat your face!

These are ribs. On the Trello page they specifically call it the Lost River Rib

I vote on "Grand Leviathan" as it's name.
how about because you can see through it, we call it the "Ghost Leviathan" or "Spectre Leviathan"
Maybe "Phantom Leviathan"
I really do like Phantom Leviathan though; if I heard something like that, I'd want to go check it out.
That's the one!

Squishy Emperor?
Genius xD
yes not to that size.
I don't think anybody has ever seen a megalodon, only impressions of them.
(because of the bio-luminescence)
>Lucifemperor<
(after the chemical substances "luciferin" and "luciferase" that produce the bio-lum.)
I'll go with phantom leviathan. Was my first thought too~

Or is that just what they want you to think?
For all we know they could just be....ribbing us~
οστό means bone in the greek
Lol, anyone who uses that face with a joke gets a +1 in my book
