I have tried a post before and it didnt work out at all. So I hope this will. I just want to talk with some people about lethal weapons/weapon ideas for a while. All I ask is no fighting please! I hope some people will actually talk and share ideas here. Thanks. I will be active a couple times a day so I will be able to respond and chat with whoever decides to talk.

As I am also a lover of extreme technology, I'd love some advanced weapon capabilities. A few examples:
- Railguns
- Antimatter torpedoes
- ERBs (Enhanced Radiation Bombs, also known as neutron bombs)
I'd love to see a few of these in the game at some point.Speargun. Fragment found in the caves below the Mountain Island. Or possibly in the very top cave.
Requires 2 titanium, 1 silicone, and 1 battery to craft. Cheap item recipe is belied by its ammo cost. Takes up a 2x2 space in the inventory.
Uses a magnetic rail to shoot spears at high speeds. Must be reloaded after each shot.
Spears must be constructed individually, requiring 2x Titanium for 3 Spears. Spears take up two squares in the inventory.
Left click fires the Spear. Hit R to reload an available spear. Right click to swing the butt of the spear to bludgeon things.
Biterfish can be killed with a single spear. (But would be a waste)
Stalkers take two spears to kill, but flee after one.
Gasopods take 4 spears to kill, flee after one, and release their fart balls after each hit.
Bone sharks take 4 spears to kill, attack after 1, and flee after 3.
Sand Sharks take 6, attack after 2, and flee after 5.
Crabsnakes take 12, attack after 1, and flee after 10.
Reefbacks take 18 spears, but are only vulnerable on their underside. They attempt to flee after 1 spear. (But why would you want to kill one anyways?)
Reaper Leviathans take a whopping 38 spears, attack after 1, and never flee. (Not a good idea to try to fight them, but they CAN be killed with persistence. Better to just use the Seamoth electrical defense.)
Spears could be seen sticking out of creatures that got impaled.
Creatures that got speared will relentlessly pursue the player until they or the player are killed, or take enough hits to cause them to flee.
With this, I'd like to be able to harvest food and other things from larger creatures, monster hunter style.
Stalkers can be harvested for 2x Stalker Filets if you carve them on the body, and 2x Stalker Teeth if you hit them in the mouth.
Gasopods can be harvested for 4x Fatty Steak, and 4x Stable Gas Bombs which can be used as ammo for the Propulsion Cannon.
Bone sharks can be harvested for 2x Bone Steaks, and 2x Bone Shark Plates, which can be used to craft the Bone Shark Gauntlet, which the player can use to block hostile creature bites.
Sand Sharks can be harvested for 1x Sand Steaks, and 2x Sand Shark Plates which can be used to reinforce/camouflage the Cyclops.
Crabsnakes can be harvested for 6x Crab Meat.
Reaper Leviathans can be harvested for 2x Reaper Steak, and 1x Reaper Claw, which can be presented to natives to turn them passive.
Lol
Building onto my idea, if you are swimming around and a reaper starts to chase you, what would you do? Well if you had those traps you could hold it down while you escape or hold it down while launching harpoons straight into the reaper. And the bigger they are, the faster the cables break. You need more of the traps to hold them down.
