Stalker Snatched my Gear from my Base - Right Through the Wall

I have built a base on a ledge in the CreepVine Forest where the stalkers hang out. It consists of a room, a glass curved corridor, a metal corridor (reinforced both sides) and a vertical corridor leading up to two observation domes. Oh, and of course a hatch to get in and out.
I placed down two oxygen cylinders inside the metal corridor and then went back outside to go to my Cyclops. As I was leaving I noticed a Stalker approach my metal corridor and snatch one of my oxygen cylinders and took them to his nest. He just reached into the reinforced wall. Then he came back and snatched the second one. I was outside the base for both these snatches. No damage was done to the corridor and I had to follow him to his nest and reclaim my property.
The stalker has not be able to grab me from inside the base, thankfully.
I play in Freedom Mode.

tryna eat them so yall better hide yo base, hide yo stuff
I know that PT has talked about issues related to this but I am not sure there is a bug in about it.
Will investigate and update with a bug if I can reproduce
