  Yeah, proximity sensors or windows would be awesome.
  
  A rear-view camera or side view cameras would also be a nice thing to be able to upgrade.

  Absolutely! I know that right now no damage is sustained by bumping things unless we're at a far enough depth but I can imagine in the future that damage will be added for minor bumps and our awareness of the surroundings of our Cyclops or any other future submersibles will be paramount!
