Subnautica Almanac

I have a suggestion for Subnautica, and that would be to add an almanac to keep track of every creature you find. It could contain info like
  • Name and type of species
  • Description of creature
  • Where it can be found

It could give players another goal in Subnautica and personally I think it would really fun and interesting. :)

    yeah i posted something similar to this a while back, since DNA mechanics are coming it should work by some information being gained through observation and some through taking DNA samples.

    I think a "Bestiary" would be an excellent idea!

    The species you find, the things you learn from them, slight clues about the planet could be given like "oh so this ocean has X and Y propierties! that would explain the why of Z"

    Just about any sort of information useful for the player to learn about them but to make it important for gameplay as well so it doesn't become just an annoying part of the game.
