Custom Sounds

Hello mappers

So I know many of you make use of custom textures, props and what not (I'm not strong in this field), but do you ever use custom sounds?
Ambience and sound effects.

I have some free time, and tbh this is something I haven't really done before (game sounds that is; I have been making computer based music for over 15 years) but would like to try.

    A lot of maps never get to a finished enough state to need custom sounds, and if they use sounds they just use one of the ones from the game, there's actually quite a lot. But I'm sure someone could use some custom sounds.
