Think I just hit a memory leak crash, 3.5gigs memory used

Was puttering around with my subs, exploring the forest biome when the game froze, I ALMOST attributed it to the seamoth crash but there was no seamoth sound, only the current biome I had just transferred into was playing but the game froze, it eventually closed on it's own from windows recognizing that it had stopped responding.

Upon checking task manager it was up to 3.5gigs of memory being used, I was playing on the highest quality graphics.

Upon playing some more it seems to be a new incarnation to the seamoth bug on highest settings, the seamoth sound doesn't play though any environmental biome sounds play while the game freezes, this time the memory used was at 2.6gigs after, hmm, 20 or so minutes of play, I will test again on recommended and report back if any crash/freezes happen. Task manager reports the game as running though.

The seamoth bug appears to not be specific to the seamoth. You just hit it a lot in the seamoth as it was due to traveling around the map lots. Now you can do the same thing in the sub (yay!). It is known and being worked on but thanks for letting us know it is definitely not fixed though!

Hmm, now that you mention it I DID get a strange crash while in the cyclops, I was searching for the island before I looked at the thread and did a FULL circle of the aurora, dove to about 1k in the seamoth on the opposite side to see how deep it went, then on the round trip nearing the biomes again I got a strange crash that popped up with a window, I don't remember the text on it but it mentioned running out of something while building terrain I guess.
