Is somebody currently working on the vanilla NS1 with better graphics ?

I guess there are many people like me who love the good old days.

    I love NS2, but I do also have fond memories of NS1. I regret not getting into the comp scene back then. I looked at source modding years ago and decided I'd rather puncture my own spleen than get into that. Don't know if it ever got less horrible, this is going back a long time...

    How is UE4 netcode coming along these days?
    UE3 was terrible

    Wellp, there's that counter strike zombie game that was just released on the old hl engine... so I guess you could say stranger things have happened.

    Why source when there is a NS2 Classic mod somewhere, wishing to be updated and played?

    Because Source is much easier to run and provides fewer performance issues than Spark
