<div class="IPBDescription">why you're wrong</div> This is not [edit] <b>just</b> an FPS, this is <b>also</b>[/edit] a strategy game. If you choose a strategy that isn't as strong early game (def first) you might end up stronger mid-game or reach mid-game faster.
Just because the Defense/movement/sensory won't counter every single marine strategy, doesn't mean the aliens are unbalanced. It just means that that the marines are smarter than you.

good points, my friend. As far as balance is concerned, I use the whinemeter. As long as the number of people whining that the marines are too powerful and the number begging to have the aliens nerfed are more or less equal, then the game balance is not too bad.
Besides, life isn't balanced . . .

1.) Phase rush and capture 2 hives
2.) Dont phase rush and procede to be slaughtered by fades.
