  Steam badges are completely independent of the badges in game. There's no way to show that you've crafted it in game because of this.

  Well, its not. I asked one player - he said that he get the red badge after cards-crafting. And something about reloading badges at unknownworlds. Where i can do that?

  Ok time to clear this up:
  
  Some time ago i thought it might be cool if ppl were able to show off there crafted steam badges so i made a mod doing this ( as long as the steam profile is public)
  
  This mod is included into the ns2stats package and is also giving ppl their country flag as badge.
  
  I'm sorry about the confusing it has caused for some user thinking that it is a official hive badge, but when i created the mod there were no hive badges.
  
  So i never thought about it.
  
  If you want to check if a badges is a official hive badges just check out this list: http://hive.naturalselection2.com/badges-list
  
  Otherwise you can get those steam badges at servers with the given mod by crafting them and making your steam profile public

  I asked UWE some time ago about adding steam badges to the hive but the only answer i got was something like this would be to complex so i'm not exspecting them to get added any time soon.

  Making profile state to public have solved the problem! Badge works fine now. (badges+ mod must be installed on server)
