At what point will "unknown" users in browser be fixed?

It makes Gametracker server stats entirely nulled, which for the moment is my biggest gripe. :(

Well, I just hope this isn't a "feature" that will stay in future NS2 builds. It might have something to do with steam it self though, as I noticed server info for a few other games was a bit buggy/funny.

It's probably gonna fixed in the next patch if we are lucky, or never like the memory corruption.

NS2 long standing issues (Fix ETA: Never):
Bad Netcode (no adjustable tickrate, extremly delayed hit feedback, bad hitreg),
Bad Performance (Poor Multi-threading, Mouse Lag, bad server performance, almost no multi-threading in server application)
Bad Balance (GL Spam, semi-useless exos, poor chance of comebacks, no upkeep/or RT dimishing returns...)
Technical Issues (Mouse Lag, Memory Leaks, Memory Corruption (and memory corruption server crashes))
Bad Workshop implementation (down = kicks people/connection prboelms, out of date = nobody can join server),

Yep, some games don't even show player info anymore -- some form of ddos protection afaik -- happened to some of the source engine from what I can tell

That may be unrelated, I'm not sure. A2S_PLAYER query was changed to not report players anymore in CS:GO, which is pretty stupid (not surprising since valve went full retard with go anyway). So not sure whether this was intentional on UWE's part too, or some dictacted change from valve.

Considering it only started to happen the day of the last NS2 patch where they actually implemented a second browser, i'm going to go with they messed up somewhere and didn't realize.

Yea if they wanted to do it by design they would have removed the ability to view the player list from the in game server browser in ns2 as well.

Spoiler alert: This is a bug, it was not intentional. It is known about. Unfortunately I can't give you guys a solid date when this will be fixed :( Hopefully sooner rather than later!

I am doing my best to bug people about this matter so that it gets fixed (unfortunately it takes more resources than the amazing samusdroid has at his disposal to fix)
I hate it so much >:P

Every time you ask for troubleshooting without providing system info, ATI adds a rendering bug for an upcoming game.

When you feel you need to be rude or angry about a game, just read these links and remember what role you are playing:
