I'm a fairly mediocre player but tired of the trolling and poor attitudes on most servers I join. If anyone could point me towards an introduction or explanation of competitive play and how to start I'd appreciate it. What is the difference between "pub" and competitive? Do you have to be really good to play on these non-"pub" games?
I love the game but am really looking for a way to play with people who are friendly and take the game seriously.

There is articals about gathers, they would be your next step up from play pub games, an a good place to start to learn how comp games work
