texture browser search box issue

When typing in letters into the search in the texture browser, when pressing the "L" key, the key is not recognized as a letter but a hotkey. How to fix that?

I dont get what you mean. The letter L firing a hotkey while typing in a search box is clearly a bug. Do you mean remapping the key?

Yes, look in your options to rebind the key.
