    Still I don't think anybody at UWE is going to care what floats at the top of their suggestion list, not sure what else we can do but this thread is being ignored for almost 2 months now :(

    Nonono. We must use the example of Mahatma Gandhi and keep using non-violent civil disobedience; overfilling their emails with pleas for improved key binding system would give them the reason to shoot us...errr, I mean they might close this thread for public safety and whatnot.

    I wonder how much different an offical key-binding system would be compared to SamusDroid's mod?

    I'm assuming it would be the same or worse. I honestly can't see maximum effort being put into it when none has been put in so far.

    SamusDroid's mod has some limitations that could be remedied by an official patch (eg. Mousewheel Up/Down binding, multiple keys to the same action binding, lifeform specific bindings/sensitivity). It wouldn't even be very difficult to do this, I am completely puzzled why the devs are ignoring this issue for so long now.

    Yeah me too. Unfortunately nobody in the dev team does so it will probably never be fixed. Would be pretty embarrassing if the next Spark game still had this issue :(

    • Added Commander Bindings
    • Added Chuckle and Request Weld console binds, to allow binding to a key. Type “chuckle” or “requestweld” in console to perform the action.
    @SamusDroid: You are awesome, dude. I can't believe you made this happen. Now this will at least fix some of the issues we've been having with the binding system.

    Still no ability to bind mousewheel, though :/ all I want to do is invert scroll direction. And all I want at this point is a comment on why the crap it's disabled in the first place.

    Some assume that it is not implemented to prevent mouse wheels to be misused as a rapid fire for the pistol. If that is the case than I have to say it would be the stupidest method to prevent this UWE could think of. There are plenty of programs that like AutoIt that can bypass the misuse or even make it easier.

    Can't recall the exact reason but I think it was something about a limited number of binds and doing mouse wheel was difficult.
