When I run training mode with bots or sandbox I get a blank screen. NS2 vs other players works well

Greetings,

I have been running NS2 with no problems, until what I believe is the last update. When I went to do the initial rendering/update after the patch I got a blank screen with a cursor.
I am running Windows 7 64bit, I have the current Nvidia driver (331.82) and the failure occurred with (318.xx) and am current with my Microsoft updates.

I can run NS2 just fine when I play against other players, that is I am not running a server. If I try to run training mode, either with bots or in sandbox mode I get the initial loading screen, the descent screen comes up then I get a blank screen with a moveable yellow cursor.

I opened the console and I get a few errors that I don't get in player mode:

(Server) Script error File not found: lua/modpredict.lua

I have done the Steam file check, no problems. I have removed and reinstalled NS2 via Steam and I have the same problem, blank screen with a yellow cursor.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to try my hand at commanding but I want to figure it out without annoying others first.

    That's a mod issue, disable all mods (main menu -> Mods -> Click on all active Yes) pls. Mods will fail consistency check and therefore are disabled at other servers ;)

    PPL not checking if their subscibed mods are compatible with newest build ... . :-??

    Yea thats what i kinda mean though.. its not user friendly, i am pushing for a "safe mode" which disables mods amongst other things ..
    since people seem to have this "set it and forget it" mindset with mods.

    Actually we allready have such a mode, but only at critical lua code errors. I'm for adding that with every ns2 update all mods are disabled by default.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes it was a mod issue. I disabled all the mods and now it works just fine. Actually I never activated any mods, but some were set as YES, so I set them to NO. Thanks again, it is appreciated.
