Builder Skipping Every Source File...

I'm just not understanding this. I originally started with a more complex model but when that wouldn't work, I started over with just a cube.
I followed the video guides here (http://unknownworlds.com/ns2/ns2-custom-model-importing-guide-2/) first, as best I could with some of the updated tools looking different. Eventually I did get the structure down and I'm positive Builder.exe is loading from my "Mod/source/modelsrc" folder as the number of files skipped changes everytime I add or remove files.
I'm using 3ds Max 2009 32-bit with the ColladaMax.dle included with the NS2 installation. I'm also using Photoshop CS6 64-bit for textures but I suppose I haven't even gotten to the point that would matter. Here's a screenshot of everything I have configured here:
I hid the mod's name as it's based on something somewhat popular and I don't want side conversations about the mod itself. Just trust that all text hidden behind a green box is the same word.
Anyway, as you can see. I have the .dae exported, the .model_compile file with the .dae name, both in the same folder. You can also see the mod folder hierarchy loaded by the launchpad, and the output of builder.exe.
So the question, WHAT AM I MISSING!?
PS: My viewer.exe crashes immediately upon launching it too, anybody know what's up with that? I have AMD Crossfire running and I figured that could be the cause, haven't tested for that yet though.

I understand, but I've scoured the internet for years looking for a mod like what i'm attempting here, and the net's full of unfinished projects that get people's hopes up. I've been let down so many times. I don't want anyone doing a random Google search, finding this, then bugging me about never finishing it or something, which happens ALL THE TIME with some of my Fallout mods.
Also I'm not sure how this would be dealt with copyright-wise.
Anyway, hopefully this helps.
Hmm. Well, I tried it and it's still skipping them...
OK, may have found some insight into the problem, maybe not. my builder_setup.xml file in the Natural Selection 2 directory says:
I opened up regedit and traced the registry key set for the output directory, and it doesn't exist in my registry, there's no "Spark Engine" entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\
Could this have something to do with it, or any of those paths for that matter?
oh what the hell, i uninstalled and reinstalled and the registry key still isn't there...
can you upload yours for me please? i can modify it to fit my file structure if necessary.
Unfortunately, that didn't fix it for me. no idea why. what i mean by uploading your registry key for me is (and i'm sorry if you already know this, just being thorough)
start button > search box, type "regedit" without quotes. HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software, then find "Spark Engine". right click it, click export, save it somewhere, then upload it here for me.
by downloading it and double clicking it i can add your registry key, then if any paths are incorrect i can change them accordingly.
