Is there a way to change the commander hot keys?

Is there any way to change the commander hot-keys. I need to be able to move the map around with wasd. I cant play commander if i have to move my mouse to the edge of the screen every time i want to move the map.

Is there a option to make the map scrolling faster when I do move to the edge of the screen?

Why is this game lacking commander option its such a big part of the game now I see why no one in my games wants to play commander.


There has to be a config file or something for this stuff. I wanted to learn and play commander because im sick of bad ones. But after seeing the lack of commander option I no longer have interest in this game.

    I don't know why they are not added to the game! Im checking out your mod right now.

    Edit looks like it will only work if the sever has the mod.

    Yep only if server allows it.

    Beside of that you can click on the minimap to go where you want.
    Even on the Map (big in the middle of screen).

    Or you could push C and click where you want to look. Simple. Hotkeys are for quickly dropping stuff for you team, if you can get used to that. I'm usually hitting SPACE most of the time to take me where I need to go, i.e. med drop, ammo drop.

    A player shouldn't be forced to change their style of play based on the limitations of game design. The onus should be on the developer, not the other way around

    As others have said, this isn't yet possible. However, as a workaround to this I find that the quickest way to navigate around is to use the large map. It's not as convenient as moving the camera around with WASD, but it's actually faster since you just click and jump to a location.

    That and having the large map open often gives you a great perspective on where your team is, what they see, where your enemy is, and where your attention should be. To some extent you can do this with the mini-map, but I find the large map to be less of an eye-strain.

    To make this easier, I rebound the map to Tab, and the voice push-to-talk key to the middle mouse button (to prevent accidental alt+tab incidents).
