Unable to connect to servers

Hi,

I'm not able to connect to any servers, I even tried the UWE Official EU servers, no luck. Most of the time I get a message that says "Your game files do not match the server's. Try verifying your game cache in Steam, or maybe an update just came out". Sometimes I get a message about an out of date mod (or something to that effect).

Strange thing is, I can see that people are playing on those servers, and since we're all using Steam, we all have the same version. I also verified the game's cache, but that didn't help either.

    I guess that's limited to me?! But why is Steam successfull at verifying my cache?

    I had (have) no mods installed?!

    just to be sure i checked how to check if mods are there, apparently there should be a Workshop folder where the log.txt is located...none there.

    Ok strange:
    [Client] Script Error #1: lua/PostLoadMod.lua:25: Base class 'ResourceTower' for 'Extractor' doesn't exist
    says that something failed at loading a mod. Is there still no workshop folder if you join a moded server?

    how would I find a modded server? Also I checked the mod menu point in the game, and there is no mod listed.

    I just tried to connect to an official server again, and it worked. The error didn't pop up again.
