New exciting update! Our development team had accidentally fallen asleep near our cryo chambers and fell in, but we are back, and working on an incredible HL3 release! Now I know we've had a few small delays in releasing a stable product, but we should be looking at thinking about a Fall 2009 release any day now!

Due to Sonic bowing out on the voice acting, we are pushing our release date back to sort of thinking about considering maybe Fall 2009. Also we forgot to mention we need coders and developers! Whoops!

With a heavy heart, The Pit team announces that we are no longer working on this project. Back in 2004 we had a bright, glimmering dream for the future of FPS gaming. A dream that has been shattered by the (probably) recent release of HL2: Episode 1 and by the fact that we were actually just watching Battlestar Galactica the entire time instead of modding. With that, we leave behind fond memories of collaboration with the excellent NS community. We may forget this ever existed, and there's really no but to come after the beginning of that sentence. So say we all.

This is a project I can truly get behind. I feel it truly has the potential to revolutionise the gaming world.
My voice is horrible and the mod will come crashing down in flames and torsos if it is ever recorded and used.
