Gorge bellyslide leaving stains of slowing slime on the ground

When I bellyslide I often get to think about the gorge's belly rubbing against the ground...
I tend to picture Gorges as covered in some kind of gluey substance, similar to what heal spray could be made of.

What if bellysliding released some of that stuff, making the ground sticky, thus slowing Marines to a certain (even just slight) extent?
The slime would appear in obvious colours, like green (harder to spot on infestation too), and would disappear after a few seconds.
