Is lerk bite speed a bug?

I'm not sure. Lerk bite right now is basically what they would have had on enzyme before the recent patches, and it also seems that enzyme has no effect at all on lerks. I don't remember anyone saying lerks were underpowered before the patch, so I'm thinking this must be a bug.

I doubt this really needs reporting, if it is a bug I'm sure UWE is WELL aware of it, I just want to know whether it was intended or not.

I dont believe that this was a bug, it was an intended change to the game. Some of the NS1 players were saying this was how the lerk was back then?

It was sped up to make it more effective against structures apparently, and to make it more effective. In combat.

While still dangerous to get into melee range when marines get shotguns, it is a good step in the right direction in order to reduce fade explosions.

Still wouldn't dare using it against anyone half competent. One bite and I'm getting the hell out of there.

I think it helps to give a little more incentive for would-be fades to sink their res in lerk now, since it does make him a little more viable.

Also, I imagine it will make for some more greedy lerks who will DIIIIE for there avarice for damage! MUAAHHAHAHAH

Not really an issue tbh, most lerks will dive bomb you for a bite then fly off, rinse and repeat. Vs any decent player you will get gunned down in seconds.
