Autocad For Ns?

I'm interested in mapping for NS. But I've seen worldcraft before and I don't really like it. Maybe I could force myself to like it but I'd rather not. I do however like autocad, ALOT, and I'm damn good with it. So what I'm wondering is if there is anyway to design the architecture of a map, even just roughly and then somehow convert it over to a workable format for worldcraft or whatever. I've never done any maping for any game before but I work very well with 3D stuff.

I think you might find Worldcraft/Valve Hammer is an AutoCad. Just you make the shapes yourself and manipulate them. So it could be called an advanced autocan program,

its not an advanced autocad program.
Its as simple as the HL engine.
you dont need much more map editor features because the low detailed engine could not handle much nore.

Search for QuArK level editor and try this.
Its less special for HL (can handle any Quake-based-engine) and so has more features, most you dont need.

Autocad is very similar to Worldcraft. I learnt how to use Worldcraft first, and then started learning autocad, and I found it to be a very similar way of working.
