This weekend, WasabiOne is hosting a twenty-four hour livestream on the Natural Selection 2 channel. This is going to be huge! Watch live tutorials from some of the best players in NS2. See competitive play with casting by the best casters. Watch as mortal men degrade into a sleep-deprived state of blubbering, incoherent trash talk, their minds a Skulk, Fade and Onos filled soup. Streaming will start at 1300PDT, 1700EDT, 2200CEST, 2100BST on August 10th and will continue until that time on August 11th.     Wasabi will be the color of WasabiOne's face at the end of those 24 hours. One will be the number of "hellagoodtime" everyone else will be having.

    Appologies .. I was assuming this was going to be partially a marketing stream to get people either back playing or starting them off .. I was just saying with this competition going on at the same time, there would be a low uptake on random people joining the channel.

    Dota is insanely boring to watch anyway. Congrats on Valve for using their gaming distribution platform to round up 200k people watching players kill brainless NPCs for 50+ minutes

    In between teamfights, the downtime of farming makes the spectating experience much more enjoyable. It allows casters to catch up and set the stage for the next engagement. Its called pacing.

    I am not sure if Wasabi wants the people taking part known yet but there will be 2 casters, 1 comp player and one admin from an ns2 organization. I expect lots of great commentary and fun. :)

    Idk how they agreed to it since sleep deprivation past your teens tends to have heavy negative effects and you start hallucinating.

    Or atleast speccing in the game client... I really wish servers had 2-4 spectator only slots. Sometimes I just want to spec a game, but a lot of servers have it disabled, and when it's enabled, I'll typically be the only spectator causing the game to be unbalanced.

    Saw the casters 7 hours in and 20 hours in. Big difference in the before and after :P
