<div class="IPBDescription">Just read : )</div> In Order for this to go throught it will require, Webspace, Interested of the NS comunity and the NS Dev team as judges for this Compo.
When you look at the things that all the aliens have in common, fades are the Odd ones out having no real place in the Karaal Evolution.
All the aliens Exsept Fades have:
4 LEGS
All Projectiles come from there Mouths
And if you compaire the karaal's Evolution to what the Evolutinists Beleave in you will notice that:
Man evolved from Ape/monkey
We and them have Several Things in common
2 legs
2 arms
General Shape.
So from that the new Fade should have:
4 legs
Any Projectile Should be inside the Mouth [parasite/spit/spikes/umbura/spores/webs][i know paralise isnt the same but it should be <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->]
Should Be in a Size between the Onos and the Gorg [lurk should probly be Bigger 2 but oh well : )]
When thinking about the Acctual Look of your New Fade you should have a look at the other aliens and the patterns ect ect that they have.
Please Show your Interest
Also Notice that the Fades Abilitys Should be Re-done as a new design Obvously means new features.
This Also Is a Balancer and a exscuse to get all the people who say Fades need Nurfing to State there Ideas without Whinging : )

the fade is awesome looking anyway.
the dev team arent going to change the design, so your not going to win a prize.
i suspect most of fades "redesigns" will most probably look like something out of AVP

This is a game. It is a work of art. Art is not constrained by reality and does not have to make sense. Striving for as much realism as possible will only restrict creativity.

Going by the logic of the original post, however, we can take the evolutionary scale back a bit more (if your a follower) and we find our friend the amoeba/virus.

I wouldn't say that the lerks spikers on the wings are legs...
Actually, only the GORGE has projectiles coming out of his mouth.
Parasite- comes from skulks nose, not mouth
Spike- comes from spikers on wings of lerk
Umbra+Spore- Comes from same place, wings on lerk, but isn't spikes
Paralyse- Shouldn't really be a projectile, but now it is so... It comes from the "whip" things that makes it look like the onos has rasta hair when it jumps.
General shape is not discussable...

I've seen a guy take a sheeps innards, put them around his balls, and call it art (I crap you not - the photos can be seen in the Museum for Modern Art in Vienna). Compared to this, I'd call Diablo a pretty safe bet.
