Natural selection 2 special edition why wasnt there ever a Steam Special Edition.

Well i am New here i know. I already readed that you can not get the special edition skin ever. Since you could only get it from preodering from the normal web side.

But why was there never, even once a special edition available in steam it self to get. Since the Deluxe edition is not bad at all but the skins is a little to edged for my taste. It does not have to be a black color for a steam special edition just like the skin design so even a special edition in green would have been nice.

Hope the Devs will some day make a steam special edition for people like me, best would be at Christmas Day ^^.

I know its no game bug but i didn't know where i could write this since you cant write a mail direct to the devs or at least i don't know who ^^.

    The Deluxe version was the "special" one for all Pre-Steam Pre-Orders. Here's all the info on that stuff. The Spec-Ops black armour will never been available again, but who knows UWE might do something else some time, someplace, somewhere :P

    Well i only mean it would have been nice if you could have gotten a similar skin or the skin in a different color at steam since if you don't like the deluxe skin and you cant get another skin you must play with the normal skin modded through steam workshop. Or if they one day would sell some skins for this game so player could actually choose a skin. Even if i would need to pay to get a skin (like in the game Borderlands 2) i would do it to have actually some think to choose ^^.

    Digital content could add in a bit of revenue I guess on UWE's part, but I think UWE's goal is to avoid such things and give the full game up front with long term support, Steam Workshop.
