Marines sort of get retarded when you give them JP/HA/HMG/GL. It took me about 45 minutes to take out the alien's last hive. We had complete map control and I was spamming JP/HA/HMG/GL at home. What happened? They died to skulks! This elite team of fully upgraded Tanks couldn't achieve ANYTHING. They wouldn't build or follow waypoints. Amazing.

Getting kills with healing is a doddle, but why on earth would ya have celery? use adrenaline and web em then spray em. Don't think I've seen you on that server, you only started using it recently? Picture the scene the enemy are just getting up their 2nd hive, they've got defences outside.
But. Lo! whats this? A ramboing marine has made it to just outside the hive so all is not lost! I give the order for all the other marines to get near a gate and tell them that when the gate goes up they are to go through, build the buildings and protect the siege's but they are not to shoot any enemy buildings... I say this lots.
The phase gate goes up the marines pour through the american bod and his buddys go 'oh look offence towers and try and blow em away with LMGs'

(and befor anyone says it they were using voice coms, this is how I guessed their nationality)
Incedently I'm not Anti-American I'm Anti-stupid people, I am well aware that stupid people are available in all nationalitys and from all major religious groupings. This is unfortunate, if only they'd wear a badge or something I could avoid them more easily.

i hate it when i have HA/HMG and welder and no armor left and like 1 health and no ammo and i'm in the enemy hive hiding and the commander says "go to the waypoint and build that thing or i won't give you anything so stop whining!"

khabal servers suck. they are the closest to me i can tell coz they give me the lowest pings i can find when there is not many people but when you get over 10 people on them the pings go over like 500 and that happens in Team Fortress Classic as well. absolutely pathetic. They should be banned from putting games on their servers.
Com leaves. I'm an experienced com. I step into the pod and start to get my bearings of the situation. I get a chance to lay down a resource nozzle. Find some marines waiting for a phase gate and am ejected before I can place it.
Since there was nobody else even near the CC except me, the marines are left without any means to build anything. Unsurprisigly, the game was lost, as it cost us too much time to get another commander after they stupidly ejected me. I was only in the pod for maybe 30 seconds - I doubt they bothered to look up at the resource bar and see that there was no commander for the past couple minutes, they just assumed it was me that whole time ignoring them.
Suffice to say, ejecting the com is a great way to get rid of dumb commanders but it's also a nice way to get rid of good commanders before you give them a chance too. When you eject, you better be darn sure that you've got somebody as good or better around to take his place. The resource I'm built was unharassed for the rest of the game.

We're trying to bring up another hive. We have one gorge, and he's okay but not great. There's this one guy who keeps saying "NOBODY ELSE GO GORGE!" like even from the start of the game. Anyway, I find this isolated resource tower and I decide to help by evolving into a gorge and placing a resource tower. This guy goes, "OMG! WHY ARE YOU A GORGE! YOU'RE WASTING OUR RESOURCES". I'm like, "Dude, I'm temporarily gorging to build a resource tower. It'll make us back more resources than I'm spending."
That particular resource tower goes down (south loop, epsilon map), and I die because marines come from one direction and any skulks nearby run off in the other direction. This guy starts whining, "AAH! YOU IDIOT! NEVER GORGE AGAIN! YOU SUCK, YOU DIED AND SO DID YOUR RESOURCE TOWER". Nevermind that the resource tower was alive for a good minute, more than enough to make my team back the mere 35 resources it cost me to gorge and build that resource tower.
Suffice to say, this whiney geek didn't help the team morale much. I ended up going gorge again to pick up two more resources in Tri-Core and the alpha access hallway. He kept on whining. These two resource towers were not taken fro the rest of the game. This guy keeps complaining about the fact i went gorge.
Pretty much the whole alien team sucked that game. As a gorge I actually nearly managed to take back maintenance BY MYSELF, by building a bunch of offencive towers while they were all running around epilson. (No, I could not help Epsilon with my gorge since it had a siege but maint did not). However, it didn't happen because I had absolutely no skulk support -- too bad, would have only taken one good skulk to have uprooted them such was the chaos they were in by the time they managed to take me down.
<b>It all comes down to this:</b>
People can't see the whole game at once, especially if they're n00bs. There's some Marines that aren't having their every need catered to, and so they assume their Commander is a newbie, when in fact he could be busy somewhere else on the map where his attention is really needed does not occur to them. There's some aliens that assume they have the right to tell everybody else how to play without stopping to think that maybe that guy over there on the other side of the map has a good reason for doing what he's doing.
We've all probably had experiences like this before...
I'm sure we can all relate to your story, Question. Just depend on those in the server you know will do there duty, while letting the others run around getting killed or have them join a mob. It's strange, but people like that tend to like moving in a mob
That whole "TOO MANY GORGES!!11" thing pisses me off. I hear it in every single gdamn game now. Anytime and everytime anyone goes gorge there are the cries and screams of "TOO MANY GORGES11!!." Pisses me off so much it sometimes keeps me from even playing as I know if I even THINK about going gorge some little biznatch is gonna start screaming and hollering. Totally sucks the dynamics of class selection outta the game. If we got 15 players and one, mebbe two gorges and I go gorge just do me a favor, k?

anyway, about the punishment of idiots. It used to be that way in America. Called Eugenics. Those that were rated as imbeciles were sterilized so as to purify the gene pool. It attempted to force selective breeding. In the end, someone else thought that was a pretty good idea. His name was Hitler.
