Hello everyone. So ever since I downloaded ns2, it would almost always give me this error while playing about 30 minutes of the game.
I searched it up and found out that it had to do with the game files
I tried verifying the cache and reinstalling it, but to no avail.
What do I do now?

Might be fixable by reinstalling the C++ redistributable
If not, it could mean your registry is corrupt or you have some spyware.
Also, posting your log.txt, dxdiag, and whatever other information you can get might help.
and the dxdiag:

It may also be possible you'll have to enable viewing of hidden folders and files to access appdata, which you can find in the windows control panel tab "Appearance and Personalization" under folder options you should see a button that says "Show hidden files and folders"

oh and thats the last part of the log.
also the thing i said about vid memory was about my game just having wierd blue checkered sqaures instead of normal icons for stuff like the icons on the map
"Error: Couldn't load 'ui/buildmenu.dds'" is the red flag here.
Your video card is 16x slower (22x if you include the latest generation the 780) than the high end cards of today, and is the lowest of it's generation - never really intended for FPS gaming. (mostly video editing etc)
You definitely should consider upgrading your video card.
The naming scheme for Nvidia is like this: The first number is the generation (per year) the next number is it's performance, from 2 to 9. Try not to go below the number 7 or 6 for the 2nd digit.. i.e. 670 or 660. Use that site i linked above as a guide, they are a great resource for comparing, and shopping prices etc.
Consider that a recent video card, the 620 is a whole 13x slower than the 680 - its the same generation and technology, its just the top performer.
In the meantime, you can try enabling "Texture streaming" in the graphics options, it should help some.
Also, If you have any $30 3rd party CPU cooler/heatsink then you should most definitely overclock your CPU (If you know what you are doing or have someone who does!!) to gain a huge performance leap. An up to date video card + your CPU overclocked could yield great results (consistently 60 fps or better).. Just something to consider.
Goodluck!
p.s. you can run r_stats in the console (~ key) to monitor GPU stats like VRAM usage and frame timings etc. (the command FPS will just yield the frames per second only)
Thanks for the help.
