1) start running toward marine (preferably from behind him) 2) press 3 (leap key) and leap at him to make a fast rush 3) immediately press 1 and hold down attack button 4) strafe left or right around him until he or you die

you press leap button, and you just keep MOVING toward target to attack him. leap = onos charge, but much weaker.. understand?...
so i could be leaping and biting at the same time cuz i press leap once to get on you, and while im in midair, i switch to bite while also pressing against you to do leap/charge damage.
i could see there is a bug maybe that leap damage is still done when i switch to bite, but its not like i am using external programs do make it so.
Most people that get accused of cheating are just good players.
If you are a good player you will most likely get accused of cheating at some time or other, if you are really good then its even worse. NS is newish, the mediocre players from other games find it hard to accept people have gotten that good already.
As for scripts, theres nothing wrong with them and to say otherwise is moronic and probably the opinion of average or arrogant players who consider themselves somehow better than everyone else.
May i suggest to those who argues about scripting....
console is not a default thing that comes with the game (hl or ns)... it is more like a hidden variable...
so an average joe (i.e. new player) would not know of console and scripting... he would just open half life, choose custom game, go to multiplayer, customize, configuration, blah blah blah, join game and play.
so scripting IMO shouldn't be used so excessily for the lazy people... do your own work.
As some people said it... "bunny hopping is not too bad, as long as you're doing it on your own and not relying on some scripts"
I've tested the skulk bite model with some friends...they can attack about half a body-width distance from what looks like their eyes on the side of their head, and about 3/4 a body length in front. This may explain some of the 'cheating'; the skulks just have a huge bite area.
Not that I´m getting into this, but seeing as people are (intentionally) mixing up "binds" with "scripts"...what can you do.
The fact that you don´t have to type "+attack" in the console is because you <i>bind</i> that action to a certain key. Creating a <i>script</i> that lets you leap, bite, check your 6-o´clock, parasite and rub your belly, all at the press of a button, is another thing altogether. Pretending it´s "the same thing" just makes you look like an idiot in my book.
Some scripts are just plain cheap, like a sniper-view script I used when I played Q2 back in the days. It gave me a tremendous advantage over a rookie during long-range railgun fights. Not fair.
Then again, some scripts are completly ok in my book. It´s a gray area. And *some* people will always rationalize their behaviour by saying "Hey, it´s doable within the game engine, then it MUST be morally ok for me to do this." These people will also assume that anything that isn´t illegal is therefore also not unethical. Sigh.
Cheater Alert! Some guy killed me 50 times by just walking up to me! No way! I had HA NO WAY a skulk couldve killed me! He must have had some uber bite turned on or something!
yer i have fully been acused of wall hacking as a marine cause i was nailing them left right and center. I would absolutely no idea about hacks and scripts i just play em for fun. yer really good sound heaps alot!!!!! maybe thats why? cause i can hearing coming from ages away, theres claw sound makes me stop get some distance between us and pistol first then LMG
lol i usually have scores of like 40-4 skulking the WHOLE game sometimes scores like 23-1 and 19-0 depending on the length... I get accused quite a bit of all kinds of hacks.
