Actually a lot of functionality is messed up. The button triggers are not lined up with where the buttons are. If you click around you can get it to work but its pretty annoying. Also the loading screens are cut off and look really bad when you can only see half of the map overlay when loading(doesn't really matter because the overlays are incorrect 50% of the time.). Also the commanding hud and text chat could use some love for 4:3 resolutions.
I don't understand how this is still like this so far after release. I mean uwe was a top seller for a while on steam. Why is it taking them so long to expand and hire more devs? They had like what 10 people? By now it should be like 30 at least. I don't under stand why they seem to want to stay small. NS2 could actually be really good if uwe would do something about it. Preferably not as slow as it has been so far.
They didn't exactly sell the game for AAA money. Most of their sales have come off massively reduced prices on an already cheap game. You're being a bit unrealistic if you expect they're ready to balloon out like that already. Plus, I'm quite happy with the 10 they have. Quality over quantity imo.
It's probably safe to assume that UWE had loans to pay off or investors that are taking a percentage of the money... I agree that there seems to be a lot more that could have been done post-release, and there are still some issues that have been around since beta that have yet to be fixed, but for the most part NS2 is pretty legit.

Edit : ah, i see now, those few boxes are gone
