ModJam Day 4: The Business End - UnknownWorlds
How quickly time slips by. One moment, a team is happily making wishlists of features. “Yeah, we can get that in tomorrow” is a common refrain. Until today. Thursday is the day before Friday, and Friday is the day the ModJam ends. Today, each team was forced to look at their game through the prism of an imminent release.

I didn't have to bump!
oh noes! i will get the sheets for the couch ready...
Specific weapon choosing, moving sentries, getting out of exos, woah... in 3 days too.
Great job guys. Really looking forward to these mods being released, I think I might even start hosting a server too.
And HOLY GODAMN SMOKES, does last stand look AWRSUM.
As a side note to item picking, I know you were against the method that pick up the gun when you press +Use while have cursor over it, but why not, I think it is the most comfortable way, wondering what you have in mind in the mod.
And I hope the fighter game will have cloth rubbing/impact sounds to make hits feel more powerful
Several more suggestions:
allow to drop(throw) a single magazine of ammo
allow to carry a single med pack to heal friend/self
there is a Snake minigame in Steam Workshop, please make it official
please make sentries work in classic the same way they do in Last Stand
I think that if that is done for vanilla, sentries should receive a bit of a damage buff to even out the additional step that is required to deploy them. Otherwise, I think vanilla could do without this.
I disagree, the marines on the ground are the ones who can tell more easily where a sentry will have good line of sight. A common problem in all RTS games is that inexperienced players are insecure about their defenses, and will continue to add more until they feel safe, neutering themselves in the process. In NS2 this ruins the entire team's chance at success. It's better to head off this temptation by removing that ability from the commander. New comms will be better off, experienced comms won't miss it.
Would make concede more of an "escape" mode, and much more enjoyable!
P.S. I'm hoping that a lot of the innovations that are going into this Mod Jam will make it into vanilla NS2.....in-game cameras, deployable sentries, better AI...... all can be used to improve NS2!
