1.04 Question About Hives

in NS General Discussion
it says that the hive starts with full health. Does that mean that as soon as the gorge puts it up, it's active? Or does it just mean that once it's done building that it will have full health. I believe (in 1.03) when a hive is done it makes that healing *bloop* noise. Does that mean its healing itself up?

    Exactely. And yes, the healing noise comes from it healing itself up to full health. All hives used to start with 50% HP.

    good, i got scared there for a sec. Someone was talking about it in another post and the way they worded it, it seemed like hive would finish instantly as a gorge put it up. That would be waaaaaay to powerful for the aliens. Agreed?

    that'd be hilarious. You'd have kamakazi gorges who would rush in and active all 3 hives. Then the whole team goes onos before the hives die.

    This is why LMG rushes have been so effective at the start because the hives are so vulnerable. It´s gonna be harder by a notch to kill it in 1.04.
