NS2 VRAM usage? 1.5+ GB?

I am capping my VRAM with my GTX590s in NS2 now
What sort of AA does NS2 run when turned on?
How much VRAM usage are you guys seeing?
1920x1080 as well

This has never been a problem in this game(only game it ever has was BF3 with everything maxed and 8X AA)

Also SLI did not work at all until I downloaded the EVGA sli patch

    NS2 has no AA. (FXAA doesn't count)

    Well, I have checked the stats and I saw about 2GB of used texture VRAM, I am thankful for the 4GB on card now, because I suspect that many framedrops may be caused by hitting that limit.

    As for AA, I think FXAA is used, not sure though.

    I have a 2GB card and a dev suggested I ran out of memory in a certain situation.
    Apparently, NS2 needs a lot of vram :p

    I'm all for games advancing tech though.

    I get 200 fps in lobby
    In game is 120-150 fps pending map maybe 80 FPS late game

    Issue is I get little random lag spikes as it swaps textures
    I did not have this issue I dont thing when I ran it off an SSD but now its on a mech drive I get these weird lags

    NS2 doesn't look good enough to be filling up 2GB of VRAM IMO.

    On my 1GB card with textures on High and everything else on low/off I max the VRAM out. On Low it's around ~660MB 15 minutes into the game. This is @ 1920x1080.

    Not really related but thanks to the devs for continuing to optimize the game. On release I used get as low as 18fps in battles (especially battles in bases with a lot of structures) and just generally awful average FPS. Now it seems the lowest it goes to is around 35fps in chaotic areas. Of course 24 player servers may get worse but I prefer the 16-20 servers.

    I've experienced about 1500mb VRAM usage on highest textures at 1080p. I don't use texture streaming.
