Debug Report - Application encoutered a Fatal Error

Hi, hoping to get help with this problem. During play after a few mins or more the game a window will pop up saying "Debug Report: The application has encountered a fatal error" with the option to either send a report or to cancel, clicking either causes the game to then close completely.

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

    When this happens, keep the game open but go to task manager, then right click on NS2 and run a dump file. Then upload it and post the link to it here.

    yeah i would like to post my dump file for you to check out, sadly it was 700 megs so that is not feasable, any other things that would help?

    Also, I found a natural selection dmp file in the steam folder named "dumps". I don't know if it will be useful but I thought I would make a link to it just in case.

    Can I please get someone to have a look at this problem for me and recommend a fix for this.

    As it stands I am unable to play the game with this fault.

    Does this happen on just modded servers, or does it occur on non modded?
    Have you tried verifying the integrity of your game cache files through Steam? (Library > Right click Natural Selection 2 > Properties > Local Files)
    Have you tried deleting your cache folder then restarting the game? (C:\Users\_your user account_\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\cache)

    This happens to me a lot too. I can hardly play the game any more. I never know when it's going to happen. Sometimes it's 10 to 20min in between crashes and sometimes it's within 5 min. It's frustrating. Thankfully I'm a server admin and can kick my self out of the server so I can rejoin without getting the Authentication Error. I'll add as many logs as you like. I send every single one of them.

    It used to only happen on map changes. Now it never happens on map changes and does it everywhere else. I've deleted Steam and NS2 and redownloaded everything. I reinstalled the C++ libraries. I'm out of ideas.

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

    Yes I've been testing it on all servers and the problem happens on both modded and non-modded.

    I have tried verifying the integrity and this has made no change and have deleted the cache folder and then playing the game and the problem persists.
