    1) Go into the Steam Workshop for NS2.
    2) Subscribe to a crosshair you like
    3) ????
    4) Profit!

    Madd0g:

I'd take time to browse the workshop anyway
There's a couple of minor cosmetic changes I picked up a while ago like smaller marine notifications (makes it easier to see past them)

Steam workshop -> NS2 -> subscribe custom crosshair -> start NS2 -> Mods menu -> activate crosshair mod

    Ahh it's the workshop than.
I though it's somewhere well hidden in the game's options because usually that's the place to put crosshairs.
I am kinda worried about workshop mods,i know some decrease performace and mine is horrible already.
Does a crosshair mode decrease performace in any way?

I'm using one of Koruyo's crosshairs, and I noticed no performance difference at all.

I use Kouji San's Crosshairs #2, and offcourse it won't have any performance penalty.
If you like them, the mod will even raise performance...your own, ingame!

Just remember to restart NS2 after subscribing to any mod.

Funnily enough can workshop mods have an actual performance impact. In the beginning I "activated" all maps that I subscribed to in the workshop in the game, which then ran out of memory in other maps as a result of that.
