Is there a Demo for NS2?

Hi all,

I'm usually a console player and have wanted to try out NS2 for a long time, I'm a little low on cash right now but I have wanted to check out this game for a really long time. Is there a DEMO available for it so I could give it a go?

and my desktop specs are: Intel core 2 quad CPU q6700 at 2.66 GHz 3.00GHz

I also have 4GB of ram

and a 64-bit windows 7

how fast is the processor, how much ram do you have, what's the video card?

You almost have the same setup as I. With all the sexy stuff turned off in graphics (atmospherics, vsync, etc..) I get about 55-35 fps in-game and like over 100 in the ready room (which doesn't matter). I OCed mine to 3.33GHz though.. dunno if that changes much tbh. worth a go if you get a free copy lol

well, you should be able to manage 25-30fps. if you don't mind playing with very low settings and some lag, PM me your steam info

I'm not using a laptop though. Again, dunno if that changes much. Not a complete computer junkie.

You're computer will not give you enjoyable performance in ns2, I suggest upgrading to something more modern, even the intel pentium g2020 would be better.

Is there a Demo for NS2?
