Steelseries 6gv2 media controls and key conflicts?

I have this keyboard, as you can see there is a button between left ctrl+alt which activates the media keys located on F1-F6.
The issue I have is that for some reason while using this in NS2 it randomly presses other keys for me. Only some of the keys are affected when pressed:
F1(mute) = presses strafe right
F2 (lower sound) = presses C
F4 (play/pause) = presses G
Obviously this is kind of annoying since I want to use this to listen to music ingame and not drop my weapon... and alt tabbing is one of the worst things you can do in this game, especially in full screen mode.

Guess the problem is that NS2 only recognizes standart Keyboard Layouts without extra keys
